Hi, I’m Ruby.

I grew up on an island off Seattle in a house full of artists — there was a trapeze in my living room, homemade masks on the walls, and a music studio in place of an office.

Needless to say, I was lucky enough to have parents who indulged my need to repaint my room every. single. year.

And fabric paint my shirt before third grade picture day.

And cut up every single magazine or catalogue my mom had in the house.

I’ve always been fascinated by the ways that aesthetics shape perception. While I did eventually accept that walls could stay one color, I never kicked my love of making art. My biggest creative outlets today are fashion, photography and collecting passport stamps.
